The Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion was established in 1751 and currently has over 800 members. Our task at MLC was to provide a membership website that equipped the society to communicate more effectively online and to help increase its membership base. It was also important to get the balance right visually in creating a site that looked current but without losing the gravitas and the history behind the society itself.
The system we implemented enables the society to take recurring payments and one-off payments for annual membership at different price levels and access to the membership zone. The online shop provides the society with the ability to generate revenue through the selling of their annual transactions and individual articles. Using the Business Catalyst platform we were able to implement all this as well as an email marketing system for keeping people up to date with the latest news and events.
