Website Design for Acquisitions Daily

Mike Leach Creative collaborated with Dan Smart and Digital Nation to design the website and develop a brand image for Acquisitions Daily. The website is a membership subscriber site, built in WordPress by Dan Smart. MLC took the wireframes and developed the look and feel for the site including all the page designs, icons, mega-menu, print to pdf and graphs.

A campaign website for Feba to celebrate stories of faith from athletes traveling to London this summer.

The website is built using Adobe Business Catalyst and gives visitors the chance to donate online as well as enable people to share across a number of different platforms. Printed letterheads, forms and envelopes were also designed as part of the campaign promotion.

FMP Motorfactors is one of Swansea’s leading motor factors well know for it’s supply of motor parts to the trade. Looking to branch out into the retail sector FMP approached MLC to look at developing a website that promoted their service to the general public.

The site is primarily built to appeal to retail customers emphasising the fact that they will be “getting a good deal” due to the fact they are dealing with experts in the trade. An online chat system has been implemented so it is easy for potential customers to get advice on the parts they require as well as be able to check the stock. A re-vamped trade section enables local garages to apply for an account online.

This site is all about helping parents to get practical information about a number of diagnosed conditions to help them in their parenting. With a lot of resources available it was important to have a clear navigational structure. Some parents would know what the issues are with their child, others would need help to find information based on symptoms shown by their child. With regular blog posts and international offices this site is a knowledge base for everyone with children.

Iphone paragraph text renders too large

When testing websites on different browsers we noticed that the paragraph text rendered larger than it should in the iPhone mobile safari browser. We think that iPhone browsers are programmed to make large chunks of text as readable as possible without enlarging the display. To prevent this from happening on pages where this isn’t needed at the following code to the body css tag: -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;
